Oct. 20, 2013, 4:00 pm: Washington Master Chorale performs a program of “Wisdom and Eternity” at National Presbyterian Church.
Nov. 1, 2013: UMD Chamber Singers perform at the National Collegiate Choral Festival (NCCO) in Charleston, SC under the baton of Matthew Halls.
Nov. 14-16, 2013, 8:00 pm: UMD Concert Choir performs Britten’s War Requiem with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Nov. 14-15 in Baltimore, Nov. 16 at Strathmore.
Nov. 17, 2013, 4:00 pm: UMD Men’s and Women’s Choruses present “When the Night is Sweet with Starlight.” Rachel will be conducting part of the program.
Nov. 21, 2013: 8:00 pm: UMD Faculty Artist Recital: Linda Mabbs remembers Benjamin Britten. UMD Chamber Singers will be performing “Hymn to St. Cecilia” in this program.
Dec. 7, 2013, 4:00 pm: Messiah Sing-along at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3022 Woodlawn Ave., Falls Church, VA, Dr. Casey Cook, conductor. Rachel will be performing as the soprano soloist.
Dec. 13, 2013, 8:00 pm: UMD Men’s and Women’s Choirs present “A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols” in the Memorial Chapel. Rachel will be conducting in this program.
Dec. 15, 2013, 3:00 pm: UMD Chamber Singers present Music and Mind: Images of the Christmas Feast.
Dec. 15 & 22, 2013, 4 & 7 pm: The Washington Master Chorale performs “A Winter’s Night: Seasonal Favorites!” Rachel will be conducting in this program.
SPRING 2014
Jan. 25-26, 2014, 7:30 & 4:00 pm: Six Degree Singers, conducted by Rachel Carlson, present “Choral Inspirations”, featuring a program of songs that inspired our singers in their formative years.
Mar. 1, 2014, 8:00 pm: UMD Symphony Orchestra and UMD Concert Choir perform “Ravel and Bruckner.”
Mar. 2, 2014, 4:00 pm: The Washington Master Chorale performs “Perpetual Light” at National Presbyterian Church.
Mar. 8, 2014: UMD Women’s Chorus presents “A Celebration of Women’s Voices.”
April 4, 2014, 8:00 pm: UMD Chamber Singers present “A Celebration of Benjamin Britten.”
April 11, 2014, 8:00 pm: UMD’s University Chorale presents their Spring Concert.
April 27, 2014, 8:00 pm: UMD Men’s and Women’s Choirs present “An American Portrait.” Free!
June 1 and 7, 2014:The Six Degree Singers, conducted by Rachel Carlson, perform “La Dolce Vita.”
June 23 – July 13, 2014: Oregon Bach Festival 2014, under the direction of Matthew Halls.
