Nov. 16, 2008, 5:00 pm: The Washington Chorus performs the Bach “Mass in B Minor” at The Kennedy Center.

SPRING 2009

Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, 5:00 pm: The Potomac River Chorale performs a FREE concert featuring a cappella American choral gems at Annandale United Methodist Church, 6935 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA. Conducted by Matthew Irish.

Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, 9:00 pm: Femmes de Chanson and Coral Cantigas performs a joint concert at the Washington National Cathedral as part of the weekend conference “Sacred Circles: A Celebration of Women’s Spirituality.”

March 11, 2009, 8:00 pm: The Washington Chorus performs “New Music for a New Age: the music of Trevor Weston” at The Atlas Center.

March 12-14, 2009, 7:00 or 8:00 pm: NSO Pops: Jerry Herman’s Broadway, conducted by Donald Pippin and performed at the Kennedy Center.

April 5, 2009, 3:00 pm: The Washington Chorus performs the Verdi Requiem at The Kennedy Center.

April 30-May 2, 2009, 7:00 or 8:00 pm: Haydn’s Creation at The Kennedy Center with the University of Maryland Concert Choir and NSO. Conducted by Helmuth Rilling.

May 31, 2009, 4:00 pm: The Washington Chorus performs the Rachmaninoff Vespers at The National Presbyterian Church.

Jun 29-Aug 7, 2009: I am thrilled to be re-joining the Santa Fe Desert Chorale for my second summer season with newly appointed artistic director Joshua Habermaan. Concerts will take place in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
