FALL 2010Revels DC 2009

Sept. 4, 11 am & 12:30 pm: The Washington Revels Singers perform Musical Americana at the CorcoranGallery of Art free Summer Saturdays program.

Oct. 5, 2010, 12:10 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs a free noontime cantata.

Nov. 7, 2010, 3:00 pm: Voices of Peace performs“Illumination” in Kansas City, MO.

Dec. 4-5 and 10-12, 2010: Rachel Carlson performs as Ms. Fancy Day in The Washington Revels‘ annual Christmas production!  This year, we travel to novelist Thomas Hardy’s beloved “Wessex” to the little town of Mellstock in the countryside of nineteenth-century England.  Tickets on sale October 4th.

Dec. 16-19, 2010: UMD Chamber Singers (and alums!) sing The Messiah at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Rinaldo Alessandrini.

SPRING 2011

Jan. 29-30, 2011The Six Degree Singers, conducted by Rachel Carlson, present music of the Roman gods and the planets that bear their names.

Feb. 18-20, 2011The Tucson Chamber Artistsperform the Bach B minor Mass in Tucson, AZ.  Visit last year’s rehearsal video.

Mar. 1, 2011, 12:10 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs a free noontime cantata.

Apr. 5, 2011, 12:10 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs a free noontime cantata.

Apr. 8, 2011, 8:00 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs Stravinsky’s Les Noces(Svadebka) with the Stravinsky Project at Strathmore.

May 1, 2011, 3:00 pmThe Washington Bach Consort performs the Bach Easter Oratorio at the National Presbyterian Church.  Rachel Carlson will be performing as a soloist.

May 3, 2011, 12:10 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs a free noontime cantata.

May 20 & 22, 2011: The Six Degree Singers, conducted by Rachel Carlson, perform their annual Spring Concert, “Song of Nature, Life, and Love.”
