FALL 2012

Aug. 17, 2012, 7:30 pm: The Midsummer Singers perform “A Great Romance”, featuring romantic music  of Brahms, Schubert, Wolf, Mendelssohn, and more at St. Paul’s Church, 2430 K st. NW, Washington, DC.

Sept. 23, 2012, 3:00 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs “Kings and Commonners”.

Oct. 14, 2012, 4:00 pm: The Washington Master Chorale performs “The Mystical Supper.”

Nov. 6, 2012, 12:10 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs a free noontime cantata.

Nov. 11, 2012, 3:10 pm: The Advent Project performs 
a free concert
 with music by Bach, Howells, and Pizzetti.

Nov. 18, 2012, 7:30 pm: UMD Chamber Singers and University Chorale perform “Masterworks from the 20th Century”, including Poulenc’s famous “Figure Humaine.”

Dec. 1, 2012, 4:00 pmMessiah Sing-along at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3022 Woodlawn Ave., Falls Church, VA, Dr. Casey Cook, conductor.  Rachel Carlson will be performing as the soprano soloist.

Dec. 4, 2012, 12:10 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs a free noontime cantata.  Rachel Carlson will be performing as a soloist.

Dec. 20-23, 2012: UMD Chamber Singers sing The Messiah at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Rolf Beck.

Dec. 23, 2012, 4:00 pm: The Washington Master Chorale performs “Noel!  Noel!”

SPRING 2013

Jan. 19 & 26, 2013, 7:30 pmThe Six Degree Singers, conducted by Rachel Carlson, present “Stages of Life”, featuring a program of songs from Childhood, Adolescence, Adulthood, and Old Age.

Jan. 5-6, 2013The Tucson Chamber Artists perform the Bach and Britten.

Jan. 16, 2013: Vocal Arts DC presents Janacek’s opera, “The Diary of the one who vanished” at the Kennedy Center with Rachel Carlson singing in the woman’s trio.

Feb. 8-10, 2013The Tucson Chamber Artists perform the Rossini and Brunelle.

Mar. 3, 2013, 4:00 pm: The Washington Master Chorale performs “The Splendid Silent Sun.”

Mar. 7-9, 2013: UMD Concert Choir performs Mozart Requiem at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Christoph Eschenbach.

Mar. 10, 2013, 3:00 pmThe Washington Bach Consort performs “Honor and Remembrance.”

April 5 & 7, 2013: The Tucson Chamber Artists perform the Brahms and Martin.

April 28, 2013, 3:00 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs Bach’s “B minor Mass.”

June 1 and 9, 2013:The Six Degree Singers, conducted by Rachel Carlson, perform “Myths & Legends.”

June 23 – July 14, 2013: Oregon Bach Festival, 2013, under the direction of Helmuth Rilling.
