Sept. 11, 2015, 7:00 pm: True Concord Voices & Orchestra present the Mozart Requiem and New York premiere of Stephen Paulus’s Prayers and Remembrances at the Lincoln Center in New York City.
Oct. 9 2015, 8:00 pm: UMD Concert Choir performs Bruckner’s Mass in E Minor with the University of Maryland Symphonic Orchestra.
Oct. 18, 2015, 4:00 pm: Washington Master Chorale performs “Modern Romantics” at National Presbyterian Church.
Nov. 22 2015, 7:30 pm: UMD University Chorale performs their Fall Showcase. Rachel will be conducting half of the program.
Dec. 4, 2015, 8:00 pm: UMD Chamber Singers and UMD Symphony Orchestra present David Lang’s Little Match Girl Passion and The Nutcracker.
Dec. 17-20, 2015: UMD Chamber Singers perform Handel’s Messiah at the Kennedy Center, conducted by Nathalie Stutzmann.
Dec. 20, 2015, 4:00 pm: The Washington Master Chorale performs “Noel Noel.” Rachel will be conducting in this program.
Jan. 30 & 31, 2016, 7:30 & 4:30 pm: Six Degree Singers, conducted by Rachel Carlson and Katelyn Aungst, presents “Love Songs and Waltzes” featuring the Liebeslieder Waltes for 4 hand piano and choir by Johannes Brahms.
Mar. 10-11, 2016: The UMD Concert Choir and Wind Ensemble present Bruckner’s Mass in E minor at the Eastern Division of CBDNA in New London, CT, under the direction of Dr. Michael Votta.
Mar. 6, 2016, 4:00 pm: The Washington Master Chorale performs “Light of Compassion.”
April 1, 2016, 8:00 pm: Rachel conducts the Shepherd University Chamber Singers and Women’s Camerata on their spring concert.
April 23, 2016, 8:00 pm: Rachel conducts the Mozart Requiem with Shepherd University Masterworks Chorale, soloists, and orchestra.
May 1, 2016, 8:00 pm: UMD Chamber Singers and University Chorale present a Spring Choral Showcase.
May 12, 2016, 9:00 pm: UMD Chamber Singers presents a 35 min. program of James Macmillan’s music following the NSO’s concert.
June 4 & 5, 2016: Six Degree Singers, conducted by Rachel Carlson and Katelyn Aungst, present a program dedicated to the Nine Greek Muses.
June 23 – July 10, 2016: Oregon Bach Festival 2016, under the direction of Matthew Halls.
