Sept. 27, 2009, 4:00 pm: The Potomac River Chorale performs at WETA’s “Concert with a Cause” event at the Old Presbyterian Meeting House, 321 S. Fairfax Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.

Nov. 8, 2009, 6:00 pm: The Potomac River Chorale performs a FREE concert of American a cappella choral music at Historic Christ Church in Alexandria, VA.  (118 North Washington St.)  More information here.

Dec. 4-6, 11-13, 2009, 1:00 or 7:00 pm: The Washington Revels performs their annual celebration of the winter solstice, through dance, drama, and song. This year will be Italian Renaissance Revels at Lisner Auditorium.

SPRING 2010DesertChorale singing

Feb. 27-28, 2010, 7:30 pm or 2:00 pm: The Tucson Chamber Artists perform “…Peace: Music for the Soul” in Tucson, AZ.  “Pie Jesu” from Fauré’s Requiem sung by Rachel Carlson.  Visit our rehearsal video.

March 20, 2010, 7:00 pm: Coral Cantigas presents “CANTO Y POESIA: Songs of Freedom” in Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, Bethesda, MD.

March 21, 2010, 4:00 pm: Six Degree Singers, conducted by Rachel Carlson, present a wide variety of a cappella choral music, including contempory, folk, jazz, and renaissance music.

April 21, 2010, 12:00 pm: The Washington Revels Madrigal Singers sing “A Tribute to William Shakespeare” for Happenings at the Harmon at Shakespeare Theatre.

April 23, 2010, 8 pm: Song of the Earth: Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day with Malcolm Dalglish at Strathmore Hall.

April 24, 2010, 10 am – 1:30 pm: The Washington Revels Madrigal Singers sing at the Friends of the National Arboretum (FONA) Garden Fair and Plant Sale.

May 2, 2010, 3:00 pm: The Washington Bach Consort performs “Magnificat!” at the National Presbyterian Church.

June 12-13, 2010, 7:30 or 7:00 pm: Conspirare performs Bach’s magnificent “Mass in B Minor” with period instruments from the Victoria Bach Festival in Victoria, TX and Austin, TX.

July 13-August 13, 2010: Third summer season with the Santa Fe Desert Chorale, a 24 voice professional choir conducted by Josh Habermann.  We will be performing in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Taos, NM.
